Our story
Thirty years of building businesses, then teaching it.
Global Marketing Systems, Inc. exists because there was a gap between the resources small businesses could buy and the knowledge they actually needed.

The founder
It started with a ledger and a flight school.
Katherine was exposed to the entrepreneurial spirit as a child through her grandfather, a lifelong businessman. As the first African American to own a flight school, and the founder of several other ventures, he showed her how a business could create generational wealth and develop a community at the same time.
Bookkeeping for him every summer gave her hard business skills early, alongside something harder to teach: the infectious mindset of a visionary. She later used that knowledge to own and operate salons, franchises and a production company.
After recognising the gap in what resources are available to small businesses looking to grow, she established Global Marketing Systems, Inc. Her vision is straightforward — that American entrepreneurs develop profitable businesses under her guidance.
Too many entrepreneurs have a business they are pouring time and money into but haven’t received a return on their investment.
This isn’t because they’re not trying hard enough. They simply don’t know how to structure their business and implement systems that help them bring their dreams to life.

What we hold to
Four principles that decide how we work
Education over dependence
We hand over the method. If you never need us again, we did the job.
Alignment before work
The first conversation confirms we both want the same outcome, or we say so.
Numbers, not vibes
A credit temperature check and a cash flow assessment decide the plan.
Generational thinking
A business is a vehicle for wealth that outlives the person who built it.
The market we serve
33 million small businesses. Most of them under-advised.
Pioneers in this space are addressing a growing need for comprehensive educational consultation. We support homegrown ventures, and we do not forget how many Americans are working hard to provide for a family or reach a dream through business ownership.
The gap we aim at is the one between owning a business and generating wealth from it. Those are not the same thing, and closing the distance is a matter of structure, credit and reach — in that order.

Next step
Work with the person who has done it
A consultation costs nothing and ends with a clear read on where your business actually stands.
